Exercise on the trestle

The buck , also known as jumping buck , is a four-legged, height-adjustable and leather-covered jumping device . At the top it has a padded, square, but rounded support surface on all sides for supporting the hands when jumping and for exercises while sitting.

Usually a Reuther board is laid out in front of the trestle in order to increase the jumping energy. There is usually a thick mat behind the trestle to reduce the risk of injury in the event of a fall.

The buck was introduced by Ernst Eiselen .
