In Munich , land prices at Marienplatz in 1975 were around 12,000 DM / m². Just 1.3 km from this point, land prices averaged 2,200 DM / m² in any direction. At a distance of 7 km, with one exception, the Munich Pasing with 1,000 DM / m², values of 250 DM / m² were found. At Marienplatz there was - and still is today - a clear culmination of land prices.
