A bodysuit is a special, large-scale type of tattoo , which usually includes the entire torso and, depending on the version, parts of the extremities.
history
The term comes from the English term bodysuit ("body suit"). Bodysuits are widespread in the yakuza culture, among others . One version of the bodysuit are tattoos that leave a strip of skin in the middle of the chest, stomach and thighs, so that the impression of a suit is enhanced. However, the history of Japanese body suit tattooing involves much more than just applying ink to the skin.
