Drill support with rotary hammer BHS 26S (operation for mining equipment Aue)

The prop was introduced into the German mining industry in the 1930s by Flottmann AG , Herne, under the name Bohrknecht . It consists of a pneumatic cylinder with a hammer drill attached to the upper end . The length of the drill support can be varied very sensitively by means of a rotary valve. This change in length enables the miner to regulate the pressure and advance of the hammer drill without having to hold it by hand.
