The Bolivia Road Bridge (also known as Lanesville Bridge ) is a historic road bridge (style: Truss bridge ) not far from Bolivia , in Sangamon or in Christian County , in the US state of Illinois in the United States . The bridge, built in 1901, spans the Sangamon River .
The foundation of the bridge is made of concrete, the bridge itself is made of steel and partly of wood. The span is 54.8 meters, the total length 189.6 meters and the width 4.6 meters. On average, around 100 vehicles cross the bridge a day (as of 2007). According to the National Register of Historic Places , the bridge was of particular importance between 1900 and 1924.
The Lanesville Bridge was added to the National Register of Historic Places with the number 03001464 on January 28, 2004 as a monument .
