Bollons Iceland is the second largest island of to New Zealand belonging Antipodes Islands in the southern Pacific Ocean .
The sickle-shaped island represents the partly sunken crater rim of a former volcano . It has an area of 2 km² and reaches a height of about 202 m above sea level.
The island is named after John Bollons (1862–1929), a captain of the New Zealand Marine Department .
