BonnEconLab

The BonnEconLab at the University of Bonn is the oldest laboratory for experimental economics in Europe .

The institute was founded in 1984 by the German economist and mathematician Reinhard Selten . By the end of 2013, around 30,000 people had taken part in scientific experiments that investigated their economic behavior and actions. The focus is on experiments on auctions and markets , negotiations , labor and health economics , fairness and reciprocity , group decisions as well as intercultural studies and neuroeconomics .
