Bookatable is an online restaurant reservation service headquartered in London . It offers a reservation service in 39 countries for 20,000 restaurants, 3,200 of them in German-speaking countries. The owner is the Tripadvisor subsidiary The Fork.

Restaurant guests can use Bookatable's reservation technology to make table reservations; the reservation calendar can be integrated into the restaurant website.
With Bookatable's Android and iOS apps, guests can view their restaurant directory and make bookings through the app. Bookatable offers restaurant bookings for Michelin , Tripadvisor , Relais & Châteaux and Eniro .
history
Bookatable was founded in 2006. As of May 2012, Bookatable has raised US $ 62 million from investors including Wellington Partners , Balderton Capital and Ekstranda.
In 2014 the Swedish reservation service 2Book was acquired. In January 2016, Michelin acquired Bookatable to accelerate its development in the online restaurant reservation market in Europe.
In December 2019, Michelin announced a partnership with Tripadvisor , which includes the sale of Bookatable to Tripadvisor subsidiary The Fork . A selling price was not given.
