The Hatecke shipyard is a yacht and boat yard in Freiburg / Elbe founded in 1861 , whose most famous products are the Börteboats .
The largest boats manufactured at the shipyard were four Ewer with a tonnage of up to 80 tons. Since the 1960s, mainly sailing and motor yachts up to a length of 20 meters have been built. Traditional ships such as schooners were also built from wood during this period.
