Borislav Jovanović (writer)

Borislav Jovanović (Montenegrin Борислав Јовановић ; * 1941 in Danilovgrad ) is a Montenegrin writer and critic . His works deal with the culture and political heritage of Montenegro.

Jovanović attended the University of Belgrade and in 2006 received the renowned Ratkovićeve večeri poezije literary prize . Stories and poems for children are part of his work as a writer.

In 2007 he publicly campaigned for the constitutional recognition of the Montenegrin language in the constitution of Montenegro.
