The Moritz was the first steam locomotive on the Borkum Kleinbahn . It was built by the engineering works and iron foundry Darmstadt in 1874 with the serial number 67.

history

The Moritz locomotive was initially at home as a construction locomotive at Habich & Goth . There she got a new fire box in 1895. In 1888 it came to Borkum, where it was used to build the island railway. After the opening of the railway, it was still used in construction trains for building dykes. At a later time (1903) it became part of the island railway. It was scrapped in 1910.
