Istanbul University Botanical Garden

The Istanbul Botanical Garden (Turkish name: İstanbul Üniversitesi Alfred Heilbronn Botanik Bahçesi ) was founded in 1931 by the German-Turkish botanist Alfred Heilbronn (1885–1961) in the Turkish city of Istanbul .

Its existence is currently (mid-2018) endangered by the Mufti in Istanbul.
