Melissa Disney
Melissa Disney (* 20th November 1970 as Melissa Femling ) is an American actress , voice actress , singer , songwriter , writer and film producer . Her best-known speaking role at the moment is that of the title character Ginger Foutley in the English-language original version of the popular Nickelodeon cartoon series As Told by Ginger , which ran in the German-speaking world under the title Gingers Welt .
biography
Melissa Disney is the daughter of Louise Gallagher, a casual actress, and Carl Femling, a writer. She has a family connection to film and television: her maternal grandmother, Toy Gallagher, was a silent film actress who appeared in several 1920s films and who has claimed to be a distant relative of American film producer and businessman Walt Disney , though How she is connected to the Disney family has never really been clarified .
Career
Melissa Disney has been active since 1995. She is one of the few women who does voiceover work for movie trailers. The trailer for Just 60 Seconds Left , which she dubbed in 2000, was one of the first in which a major film studio used a female voice.
In the US-American original version she speaks the title character Ginger Foutley of the animated series As Told by Ginger (English title: Gingers Welt ) - in the German version Melissa Disney or Ginger Foutley is spoken by Joey Cordevin . Melissa Disney is also known for her roles as Elora the Faun in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage and as Courtney Gears (a parody of Britney Spears ) in Ratchet & Clank # Ratchet & Clank 3 .
She appeared as an actress in Lake Bell's directorial debut, In a World ... , a film about voice actors . Disney played the role of Melinda Chisney in the film.

Disney is married to actor and writer Ryan Paul James. The two were married on October 15, 2010 in San Diego , California .
