Boulders Beach is a stretch of beach that is located in Simon's Town on the Cape Peninsula in South Africa . A colony of African penguins is at home here.

There is a visitor center at Boulders Beach that provides access to Table Mountain National Park . The beach section is part of this national park. Two footbridges, which protect the African penguin colony there from visitors, lead to the beach of Foxy Beach . About 3000 African penguins live there.

The beach at Boulders Beach itself can also be used by visitors for swimming. There are also African penguins at home, but not as numerous as in Foxy Beach.
