The Bowers Canyon is a deep trench off the coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It lies west of the Iselin Bank in the Ross Sea .

The name recognized by the Advisory Committee for Undersea Features in 1980 was based on the name of the Bowers Glacier . Its namesake is the American meteorologist Chester H. Bowers, senior US representative at Hallett Station in 1962. Measurements from 2004 in this area indicated that this trench may not exist.
