Trellech (also Trelleck ) is a Welsh village in Monmouthshire on the B4293 about 8 km south of Monmouth .

history

The medieval Trellech, founded by the de Clare family , was densely populated and important for its craft, but its exact location was unclear for a long time. Finds from excavations indicate that it is in the southern area on the road to Catbrook . There are more and more clues.
