Brácana is a town in the province of Granada in the autonomous region of Andalusia . The village belongs to the municipality of Íllora and is located about 12 km from this at the foot of the Sierra Parapanda . The village has about 400 inhabitants.
The most important architectural monuments are the parish church and the Capilla de los Dávila .
The festival in honor of the town's patron saint, the Virgen de las Mercedes, takes place in mid-August.
