Brainticket

Brainticket is a psychedelic rock band that was founded in the early 1970s by the Belgian multi-instrumentalist Joël Vandroogenbroeck .

history

Brainticket emerged from the soul jazz band "Barry Window and the Movements" (singer Barry Window from Basel, Switzerland), founded in 1967 , whose members Joël Vandroogenbroeck, Ron Bryer and Wolfgang Paap, together with some like-minded South German Krautrock musicians, created a new one international combo founded. Brain tickets first album Cottonwood Hill is said to be the setting of a LSD - Trips and is still regarded as one of the psychedelischsten albums ever. Several warnings are printed on the cover of the record, for example not to play the record in the presence of friends if you want to see it again.

A second edition of the band in 1980 included Vandroogenbroeck, Hans Deyssenroth and Willy Seefeldt .
