As Brandeis Brief ( Engl. Postage = typesetting ) a brief will be referred to US law, including the extensive quite actual and comparative law material to the issue of law. Such material can be obtained from the field of sociology , psychology , economics, etc. and represents a deviation from the argumentation, which is far more common in continental legal circles, using dogmatic and systematic arguments. The term goes back to the American lawyer Louis Brandeis , who first introduced this strategy applied.
