Slayers Return ( Japaneseス レ イ ヤ ー ズ RETURN) is the second anime cinema production for the novel and television series " Slayers ". The film had its world premiere in Japanese cinemas on August 3, 1996. As with the first part, the JCStaff studio was responsible for the animation , while Toei Animation was again responsible for distribution .

action

Lina Inverse and Naga are asked by Salina to free their village from the hands of the Zein organization, which has enslaved the villagers to dig for treasure. Lina can identify this treasure as a lost elven treasure and is now doing everything in her turn to bring this treasure into her possession. The treasure, however, turns out to be a monster, which with its armor resists any magic and heads towards a city. Lina and Naga can only stop the monster and save the city with a trick.

In Germany, the film was released on January 10, 2005 by OVA Films . Slayers Return was released in English by ADV Films UK on November 25, 2003. In New Zealand and Australia , Madman Entertainment Pty. Ltd. distribution.

As with the predecessor Slayers Perfect , the dubbing was recorded in the studios of Circle of Arts , under the dubbing direction of Susanna Sandvoss.

Soundtrack

As with the previous song, the ending song Just Be Conscious was sung by Megumi Hayashibara again. Takayuki Hattori was again responsible for the soundtrack .
