Brandenberger Gate
The Brandenberger Tor was a city gate in the north of Nideggen in the Düren district ( North Rhine-Westphalia ). It stood on Bahnhofstrasse / the Bewersgraben confluence.
The Brandenberger Tor was a presumably two-storey three - walled gate with pointed arch portals . It had a flat roof passage. The city gate had rectangular windows on the field side. The gate was built in the first half of the 14th century as part of the city fortifications . It fell into disrepair since the 18th century. The remains were destroyed in World War II.
