history

The institution was founded in 1897 by the then Branitz pastor and later Auxiliary Bishop Joseph Martin Nathan .

On an approximately 10-hectare park-like area there were twelve pavilion-style hospital and care buildings , handicraft and agricultural workshops and businesses, as well as company apartments. At times up to 2000 patients were accommodated. The institution church was built from 1930 to 1933. There was a branch in Dzbańce (Krug).
