Bratska mogila ( Bulgarian Братска могила ; German brother's grave) is a monument built in 1956 in the Bulgarian capital Sofia .

The monument with a 41 meter high obelisk is located in the city center, in the south-eastern part of the Borissowa Gradina park . It is dedicated to the communist partisan movement in Bulgaria, as well as to those who fell in the September uprising (1923).

The remains of Bulgarian resistance fighters from 1941 to 1944 were buried in its foundation. During the years of Bulgarian communism (1945–1989), the monument was used as an opportunity to rename the park in Park of Freedom (Bulgarian Парк на свободата / Park na swobodata). After the democratization in Bulgaria in 1989, the renaming was reversed.
