The brown bear with snail is a life-size animal sculpture made of bronze in the entrance area of ​​the zoo of the city of Nuremberg .

It shows a young brown bear lying on its back and playing with a snail. The snail sits on a quince branch that is held by the brown bear. The dimensions of the bronze sculpture are 43 × 52 × 28 cm.

The sculpture was created by the sculptor Josef Tabachnyk from Nuremberg and handed over to the Nuremberg Zoo on November 26, 2010.

In front of the polar bear enclosure in the Aquapark, the artist's larger group of polar bears has been located in bronze since 2007 . It depicts a mother polar bear with her cub in a playful pose.
