Breakage (actually James Boyle ) is an internationally successful drum and bass / dubstep producer and DJ from London.

biography

James Boyle aka Breakage started as a DJ at the age of 13. He first attracted attention in 2000 with a remix of Here Come the Drums by Doc Scott. Since then, numerous of his own releases have followed with the drum and bass label Reinforced , with which he signed at the age of 17, and other labels, later also with his own label Scientific Wax , which he runs together with Equinox . In 2006 his debut album This Too Shall Pass was released .

With the titles Run 'Em Out with the support of Roots Manuva and above all with Hard he had major successes for the first time in 2009. The following album Foundation also received praise from the international music press. Breakage had his first chart success with singer Jess Mills with Fighting Fire , which entered the UK's top 40 in early March 2011.
