The company developed and built electronic components for communication, for the aerospace industry, for the civil industry and for the medical sector. It last employed approximately 1,000-1200 people and generated approximately CAD 300 million in sales.

In 2010, BreconRidge was bought by Sanmina-SCI .

Products

Communication components included microwave and RF transmitters and receivers, IP telephones and IP controllers, optical network cards, wireless Ethernet systems, optical transceivers and transponders.

For the aerospace industry, the company developed u. a. Transmitters and receivers for satellite applications, transmitters and receivers for radar systems, C-XBand transmitters and receivers, radar modules and subsystems.

For commercial purposes: larger industrial computers, mobile operator terminals, security surveillance and radios

The company had offices in New York , Hong Kong and Shenzhen .
