Breguet Br.905S

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Breguet Br 905S Fauvette (German: warbler ) is a glider from the French company Breguet . The first flight took place on April 15, 1957. More than 50 copies were built, most of which were destroyed or scrapped because of the loosening of the adhesive bond between wood and metal (front part of the fuselage made of tubular steel with plastic planking, wooden structure with partial fabric covering, tail girders with V-tail made of plywood shells ). In 1959 the British Admiral Nick Goodhart flew a 625 km course record with the plane.
