Broad spectrum psychiatric drugs

The neuroleptics sulpiride and quetiapine are known as broad-spectrum psychopharmaceuticals . Both are effective for diseases from the schizophrenic group as well as for depression. The tranquilizer alprazolam also has a wide range of effects: It has both an anxiolytic and an antidepressant effect. The antidepressant opipramol has a moderate anxiolytic and antidepressant effect.
