Bremen contributions to the history of coins and money

The Bremen Contributions to the History of Coin and Money are a numismatic series of publications that has been published since 1997. The publisher is the Bremen Numismatic Society , which is based in Bremen at Parkallee  42. Volume 10 of the series came out in 2017.

Volumes 1, 3, 4 and 6 dealt with General Numismatics, Antiquity, the Middle Ages, and Modern Times in 1997, 2001, 2005 and 2009 ; Medals . In addition to these general priorities, the authors dealt with Bremen, for example in Volume 2 (1998) with Bremen emergency coins and stamps and in Volume 9 (2014) with German monetary history - illustrated using the example of Bremen , but also with the coin conditions in the neighborhood, such as Mints of the Welfs (Volume 5: Oberharzer Jetons from the Mints of the Welfs , 2006) and the coins of Lüneburg (Volume 7: The coins of the city of Lüneburg 1293–1777 , 2012). On the other hand, Asia was chosen as the main topic in two volumes , for example in Volume 8: Arabo-Sasanid Drachmas (2012) and in the most recently published Volume 10: Catalog of Pre-Modern Central Asian Coins 1680–1923 , 2017.
