Telser distillery
The Telser Distillery Ltd. in the municipality of Triesen is the oldest distillery in the Principality of Liechtenstein . According to the documents of the Federal Alcohol Administration (EAV), it has been active in the production of spirits since 1880. The former family business was initially known as "Distillery Telser", in 2006 it was converted into a stock corporation. In addition to traditional fruit and root brandies, it has also been producing single malt whiskey since 2006. In 2014 a London Dry Gin was launched.
In the fourth generation, wood is still fired today, the distillate is set to drinking strength and the bottles are filled by hand. In the years 2004 to 2008 the distillery won a total of 30 gold medals at the Swiss Schnaps Forum and three times the title Schnapps of the year in its category.
