Briac Menoret (born November 24, 1994 in Rennes ) is a French football player .

Club career

Menoret started playing football at a club in the Rennes area and belonged to another club in the region until he moved to the youth department of the professional club Tours FC in 2011 . The player was part of the U-19 team in Tours when he was in the professional squad for the first time on May 10, 2013 in the second division match against AC Arles-Avignon , but was not used. On May 24, he was back on the bench in a 2-1 draw against AS Monaco on the last match day and made his professional debut at the age of 18 when he came on for Thomas Gamiette in the 85th minute . At the beginning of the 2013/14 season he moved up from the youth to the second team of Tours FC. Although he ran for this regularly, there was no prospect of a permanent jump into the first team. In summer 2014, he therefore moved to the fourth division AS Vitré .

National team

For a friendly against Germany, Menoret played for the French U-18s for the first time on March 22, 2012 . In the game, which was his only game for selection, he was called up for the full 90 minutes and achieved a 3-2 win with the team.
