Brigade of the best quality

The honorary title of brigade of the best quality was a state award of the German Democratic Republic (GDR).

The "Theo Neubauer" brigade, which was named the "Best Quality Brigade" as the best mail delivery brigade (1954).

Contrary to the usual practice, no medal or plaque was awarded. As a preliminary stage for obtaining the honorary title, possession of the honorary title Brigade of Excellent Quality was considered . The honorary title was donated on April 19, 1950 and in the same year it was awarded to 100 brigades that had shown special achievements as winners in the competition from brigade to brigade through the application of new working methods and the implementation of scientific and technical progress. This also applied to the factors of improving the quality of the products and creating accident-free jobs. With the award of the title, the brigade received a cash award and a certificate.

On August 28, 1964, the award of the title was stopped.
