Brigitte Douay
Brigitte Douay (born February 24, 1947 in Paris ) is a French politician of the Parti socialiste and teacher .
Life
Douay studied to be a teacher and worked as a teacher in 1971. She later worked as a journalist for a few years. From 1997 to 2002 Douay was a member of the National Assembly . From 2004 to 2009 she was a member of the European Parliament . She was a member of the European Parliament's Committee on Budgets and of the delegation for relations with Japan.
