There are about 150 graves in the cemetery. Buried there are, among others, the fallen of the International Security Assistance Force and tourists who traveled on the hippie trail to Afghanistan in the 1960s and 1970s and fell victim to drug use there. In addition to the British, people of other nationalities were also found in the cemetery. B. from China, Denmark, Germany, France, India, the Philippines, Poland, Russia and the United States are buried.

Plaques read “This memorial is dedicated to all those British officers and soldiers who lost their lives in the Afghan wars of the 19th and 20th centuries” and “Blessed are those who make peace; for they will be called sons of God ”. The grave of a German soldier from the Second World War is in the cemetery . The soldier was on his way to India and was ambushed.
