The British Association of Mountain Guides ( BMG ) German  British Association of Mountain Guides has over 140 members and coordinates internationally recognized training and certification programs.

The association is a member of the International Federation of Mountain Guides Associations (IFMGA).

history

The association was founded in 1975 as an independent body to develop and improve the training, skills and reputation of the growing number of qualified mountaineers who wanted to qualify as tour guides and pursue this profession in the mountains of the world.
