British Society of Medical Hypnotists

The British Society of Medical Hypnotists was a professional association of hypnotherapists based in London .

The main aim of the association was to establish practical standards in hypnosis and hypnotherapy . The company was founded in 1948. Sydney van Pelt was the Association's first President and Life President until 1976. The Association's official publication was the British Journal of Medical Hypnotism
