Brizans

The Brizanen , also Brisaner , were an Elbe Slavic tribe who settled in the Prignitz in the early High Middle Ages . The center of their sphere of influence was today's Havelberg . Albrecht the Bear conquered their territory during the Wendekreuzzug of 1147, after their ruler had already adopted Christianity.
