Broadcast.com was an Internet radio company founded in September 1995 by Christopher Jaeb , Todd Wagner and Mark Cuban under the name AudioNet. It broadcast live NBA and NFL games on the Internet.

In 1998 the company went public under the new name Broadcast.com and gained 250% in value on the opening day (US $ 18 issue price, US $ 62.75 end-of-day price). 100 employees became millionaires (on paper). In April 1999, Broadcast.com was acquired by Yahoo! bought for $ 5.9 billion and posted on Yahoo! Renamed Broadcast Solutions . At that time the site had 570,000 users. After the dot-com bubble burst , the site was shut down or a redirect to yahoo.com was set up.
