Brothers of Maastricht
The Congregation of the Brothers of Maastricht ( Latin : Congregatio Fratrum Immaculatae Conceptionis Beatae Mariae Virginis ; Order abbreviation : FIC ), which today has 450 members in Chile , Ghana , Indonesia , Malawi and the Netherlands , was founded in 1840 . The founders of the fraternity were Louis Rutten and Bernard Hoecken . To this day the generalate of the congregation, which is mainly active in youth work, is in Maastricht . Albert Ketelaars has been the Order's Superior General since 1994 .
