BrokenThumbs was a German entertainment duo that was active as a web video producer , primarily on the YouTube video portal . The duo consisted of Malte Hesse (born June 19, 1992 ; near Bonn ) and Manuel Senke (born July 5, 1993 ; near Bonn). Until May 2016 they published videos on their YouTube channel every day and were part of the Mediakraft Network .

history

The duo was active on YouTube from October 14, 2011 to May 17, 2016. In 2011 they only produced Let's Play videos on the BrokenThumbs.de channel . The duo ran this channel with only moderate success, which is why production was discontinued. On December 9, 2012, they created the BrokenThumbs channel (then BrokenthumbsTV). On this channel they combine “Let's Plays” with other formats. Malte has lived in Berlin since the end of 2014 .

On May 17, 2016, Hesse and Senke announced the dissolution of BrokenThumbs. You now operate the YouTube channels Manultzen and Malternativ separately from each other .

In February 2018, all videos on the BrokenThumbs channel were made private. According to their own information, this was done out of fear of legal consequences.
