Bruce Li
Bruce Li (born June 5, 1950 in Taiwan ) is a stage name of Ho Chung Tao ( Chinese 何宗 道 , Pinyin Hé Zōngdào ), also known as James Ho , a Taiwanese martial artist , actor, director and Bruce Lee imitator. Along with Bruce Le and Dragon Lee , he is still considered one of the best Bruce Lee doubles.
life and career
Ho Chung Tao learned martial arts in his youth in Taiwan. He worked there and in Hong Kong as a stuntman under the name "James Ho".
When Bruce Lee died in 1973, Ho was offered to continue his unfinished film Game of Death ; but he refused.
He has appeared in several Bruce Lee documentaries and films, such as Good Bye, Bruce Lee and The Young Bruce Lee (1976). Two unofficial successors to Fist of Fury were filmed with him.
Private
When his wife died in 1985, he retired to become a physical education teacher at a university in Taiwan. Since then, he has rarely been seen in documentaries.
