Brutality
Brumalia (derived from the Latin bruma winter solstice) were celebrated festivals in ancient times in honor of Dionysus and Bacchus .
In the Roman festival calendar , the brutalities used by Romulus began on November 24th and lasted until December 25th .
The celebration of the Brumalia and the corresponding customs were banned by the Trullan Synod in 692 (canon 62).
