Grossia crispina
Bruttia Crispina (* 164 ; † between 183 and 193 on Capri ) was the daughter of the Roman consul Gaius Bruttius Praesens and wife of Emperor Commodus .
Little is known about their life. Their wedding took place around June / July 178. With the wedding, Crispina got the title of Augusta . Crispina is said to have a dissolute lifestyle. Her bad relationship with Lucilla , her husband's sister, is said to have led to tensions at the Roman imperial court. 182 a pregnancy could have occurred. Between 183 and 193 she was accused of adultery, exiled to Capri and probably executed there.
