Bu Ne Yaa (also Bu Ne Yaa ! , Turkish for: “That's what” ) is the first EP by the Turkish pop singer Ece Seçkin . It is named after the song of the same name and was released on October 16, 2012.
Origin and content
A year before the EP was made, Seçkin met producer Ozan Doğulu . When Doğulus suggested recording an extended play, she sang several songs in his recording studio in Istanbul. The best were selected jointly by Doğulu and Seçkin and compiled as an EP, which was given the title Bu Ne Yaa . The two songs Mahşer and Bu Ne Yaa later appeared as singles.
Work on the Extended Play began in 2011 and lasted about a year. It contains six songs with a total running time of 20 minutes and 22 seconds. In addition to Ozan Doğulu, Seçkin worked with producers Deniz Erten, Amr Mostafa, Özkan Turgay and Arzu Aslan. Doğulu was mainly responsible for the production, Seçkin himself was only involved in writing the lyrics for the song Mahşer besides Mostafa .
The content of the EP is about feelings, love and dreams. This is particularly evident in the songs Mahşer , Bu Ne Yaa , Yana Yana and Büyüyünce .
Bu Ne Yaa was released in late 2012 under the Doğulu Productions label.

On the CD cover, Seçkin is shown standing upright. She looked ahead, opened her mouth slightly. Seçkin wears a white short-sleeved top and short blue jeans with gold lamellas. Her hair is dyed brunette. To the right and left of her shoulders are drawn angel wings.
The background is white and colored in different shades of blue. The album title in white is in the lower right corner. Above the title is the name of the artist in white letters. There is a small crown above the first name. The singer's first and last name are in a black triangle that is connected from above and below with blue and white lines.
