Bubak
Bubak is a radio broadcast of Rundfunks Berlin-Brandenburg (RBB) and the associated Bramborske Serbske Radijo (German Brandenburg-Sorbian Radio ) based in Cottbus . The program is aimed at young people with their mother tongue in Lower Sorbian and those who are learning Sorbian. Bubak , who gave the program its name, "is said to have been a small, demonic black creature, a capricious, cunning little man with whom little children were frightened when they were naughty" (RBB).
The broadcast date is the first and third Thursday of the month between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m., the repetition is broadcast on the same day from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. The programs can still be listened to on the Internet for a further seven days. The program is produced by young Wends for young Wends. In addition to individual reports, modern pop, rock and hip-hop music is played, and a Sorbian-Wendish song is also played in each program.
