The Bulgarian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce (Bulgarian: Българо-швейцарска търговска камара , English: Bulgarian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce - BSCC) is a not-for-profit organization. The purpose of the Chamber of Commerce is to promote and support trade and economic relations between the Swiss Confederation and the Republic of Bulgaria , as well as to defend the economic interests of its members and to offer services that help to achieve the objectives of the Chamber of Commerce. The seat of the association is in Sofia and provides information, contacts and services to members and partners of the Chamber of Commerce from both countries. The Bulgarian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce offers its members and customers of both countries who are not members business contacts, information and advisory services such as: B. (but not only) market research, partner search. Since the beginning of 2012, information and services have been made available to the investor and business community by the BSCC, together with the Swiss Embassy in Sofia, Bulgaria, which is an official member of the board of the Chamber of Commerce.
history
It was founded in 2004. The history of the Chamber of Commerce begins in 1994, when the Bulgarian-Swiss Business Club was established on the initiative of Swiss and Bulgarian organizations and companies. The determination of the business club is to improve economic relations between the two countries and the exchange of current information between members and interested parties. In 2004 the members of the business club decided to convert due to the increased interest in establishing business contacts and to support companies from both countries. The business club was dissolved by resolution of the general assembly and the cooperation of its members continues within the framework of the newly established Bulgarian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce. The main objective of the Chamber of Commerce today is to support and promote economic and trade relations between Bulgaria and Switzerland.
