Bulmor industries is an Austrian manufacturer of diesel sideloaders , electric sideloaders, multi-directional sideloaders and ambulift lift trucks for ground handling at airports.
history
The company has its origins in the establishment of an engine and machine factory by Schöberl & Söhne in 1879. It initially built front forklifts. From the 1980s, it specialized in the production of jumbo sideloaders. By integrating the companies IRION, LANCER and the German SHS, the company bought know-how for sideloaders as well as multi-directional sideloaders. In 2011 the owner family united all brands under the umbrella brand BULMOR, which is part of the industrial holding company based in Vienna. The company has been privately owned since it was founded.
Bulmor industries is headquartered in Perg (Austria) and has branches in Bühl (Germany) and Leighton Buzzard ( UK ) and a branch in Texas with a total of 180 employees . Around 350 machines are produced annually in Perg - sideloaders from 3 to 20 tons are understood as standard machines, in addition one speaks of individual project and special construction at Heavy Line sideloaders, which are in use from 10 tons upwards. The most important customer groups are the wood, steel and plastics industries as well as the automotive industry.
