Association of Bockenheimer Football Associations

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Federation of Bockenheimer Football Associations (BdBFV) was a local football association in the Frankfurt district of Bockenheim .

Nothing is known about the founding date of the BdBFV. The Bund was probably founded in 1905 after the Frankfurter Association Bund dissolved. FC Germania 1901 Bockenheim took part in its championship in its final 1904/05 season.

The four clubs FVgg took part in the championship of the Federation of Bockenheimer Football Clubs, which presumably only took place in the 1905/06 season. 1901 Bockenheim, FC Germania 1901 Bockenheim, FV Amicitia 1901 Bockenheim and FC Helvetia 1902 Bockenheim. The game was played in two classes. The first teams took part in 1st class and their reserves in 2nd class.

Since the point games organized by the Association of Süddeutscher Fußball-Vereine / Süddeutscher Fußball-Verband took place in Westmaingau in autumn 1905, the championship games of the BdBFV did not take place until spring 1906. At some point after the round of points, the Bockenheim Football Association must have dissolved.
