Federal Parents' Council

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Federal Parents' Council (BER) is a nationwide organization representing parents of all types of schools. Unlike the parent representatives in most federal states (in all except Bavaria and North Rhine-Westphalia), which are legitimized by the respective state school law , the BER is a working group. He supports the parents 'representatives in the federal states in taking on their school participation rights and coordinates the school parents' participation at the federal level. Stephan Wassmuth from Hessen has been the chairman since November 2016.

The Parent-Teacher Association has school type-specific committees for vocational schools (trade schools, business schools and vocational high schools), comprehensive schools , elementary schools , high schools , primary schools , secondary schools and special schools formed.
