Federal Student Union Conference for Linguistics

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Federal Student Union Conference (BuFaTa) for Linguistics is an open meeting for linguistic students , especially their representatives . Membership in an elected or non-elected student body to represent the students of a department is not required to participate. All linguistic students, especially participants in the linguistic student conference , are expressly invited to take part.

Relation to the student conference on linguistics

There is a close professional connection between the Student Conference on Linguistics (StuTS) and the Federal Student Council . This is why both events traditionally take place in parallel at the same university every semester and are planned and carried out by the same organizing committee. Although the Federal Student Council sees itself as a representative of Germany's linguistic student councils, participants from other countries are also welcome. This is intended to promote international networking and the exchange of information about various educational and scientific systems.

aims

The Federal Student Council does not see itself primarily as a communication platform. Instead, it aims to actively work towards changes in teaching, studies or research. The discussion in the plenary and the work in working groups should be the basic working structures of the Federal Student Council meeting, which are mutually beneficial.
